EveAnna was founded in August 2019.It has long provided bed and breakfast accommodation because EveAnna was originally built as a hotel for the local railway station in Alnwick but, it never operated as such.  

As the owner of the property, I originally studied and worked in hospitality from leaving school. Much of my career was spent in care sector management but, I always retained responsibility for hotel services, catering and hospitality. 

In 2019. I happened across EveAnna bed and breakfast for sale and fell instantly in love with it. This led me to my decision to semi-retire from healthcare and hale to my roots in hospitality. 

I have had such great guests and I am thoroughly enjoying my new career and I am also marvelled at all Northumberland has to offer. I’m always finding new places to visit and new walks, both in the countryside and on the coast and I am passionate about sharing these with my guests. I have been fortunate enough to travel extensively. 

In 2011, I embarked on a trip around the world. I have a very keen interest in and an eye for attention to detail and I have attempted to ensure that a stay at EveAnna fully embraces inspiration from my own personal travel experience. This enables me to share with my guests all that I enjoy about travel and iron out all that I don’t. I am always looking at ways to add value to their stay by providing lots of little extras and employing an attention to detail philosophy. 

I strive hard to adapt and provide an individually tailored service to meet and exceed the expectations of my guests and this is reflected in many fantastic guest reviews. It is important to me to provide choices and a flexible service, as far as possible because I recognise that every guest has different tastes, needs and personal preferences. Wherever possible I will run the extra mile for my guests.
